About
Hi, I’m Lydia – a Graphic Artist with a passion for visual storytelling.
With 5 years of professional experience in design and a lifelong love for the arts, I specialize in creating thoughtful, compelling visuals that balance creativity with clarity. My journey began with sketchbooks and photography, and evolved into a career rooted in strategic branding, clean composition, and purposeful typography.
Currently, I bring ideas to life as a Graphic Artist at SEKISUI KYDEX, where I focus on turning complex concepts into striking, functional designs across print and digital media. I have a deep appreciation for color theory, and I’m particularly drawn to palettes that evoke mood and meaning—like my favorite, Lavender Mist (#E6E6FA).
My creative background is deeply community-oriented. During college, I led my church’s senior high youth group, organizing projects like assembling hygiene kits for local shelters and directing arts & crafts at our annual day camps. These early experiences shaped my collaborative spirit and desire to use design as a tool for impact.
When I’m not designing, I enjoy exploring darkroom photography, hand-building ceramics, and spending quality time with my husband and our many pets. I believe that creativity thrives at the intersection of curiosity, compassion, and craftsmanship—and I carry that mindset into every project I take on.
